Wax melts are an easy way to fill your space with fragrance without an open flame. (unless you're using a tea light warmer) Follow these simple steps to provide the best experience.
How do I use a wax melt?
- Only use in an approved UL listed electric warmer approved for wax melts or with a tea-light warmer. Follow manufacturers instructions for warmer.
- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable items.
- Never add water, essential oils, fragrance oils or any other additives to the wax.
- Do not leave unattended or burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- You can reheat the wax melt as many times as you like until the scent has faded.
All of our wax melts are crafted with a strong fragrance load. However, some scents tend to be lighter than others by nature. 1 "cube" should provide sufficient amount of fragrance for an average-sized bedroom.
This is a harder soy wax and provides best results in a warmer that uses a lightbulb or a tea light vs a heated plate.
How do I remove the wax?
Removing wax from your warmer is simple. These are a few methods.
- NEVER pour wax down a sink drain.
- Allow the wax to cool all the way and pop out the hardened disk out.
- After turning off the wax warmer or blowing out the tea light candle. While the wax is warm not hot use a cotton ball or paper towel to soak up and wipe out the wax.
- If melters manufacturers instructions allow, after wax has hardened up and is back to room temperature. Place the wax dish in the freezer for 10-20 minutes. This will allow the wax to shrink slightly and pop away from the dish easy.
